Make sure you take some time this Sunday to visit your mother or take her out for Mothers' Day. Flowers and chocolate certainly wouldn't go amiss either. Most women love to be spoiled in this way, and no doubt your mum deserves it for all the grief you've put her through at various stages of your growing up.

This is the one day of the year when people honor the contribution mothers make to the world at large. Many of them have sacrificed their own goals and ambitions to bring up their children, and even those who still pursued a career had to make constant adjustments and concessions to make sure their children's needs were met. It's a debt that can never be repaid, but at the very least, find an inventive way to say thank you this Sunday.
